Community Programs/Special Projects

Playgroup WA receives funding from government (either State or Federal) for its community-based programs as well as specific special projects that extend or add to our day-to-day service delivery. These programs and projects are usually bespoke and run for a specified time.

Some we lead, while others we partner with like-minded community groups or organisations to ensure we meet the specific project needs and requirements.

Supported Playgroups

Playgroup Australia has been appointed by the Commonwealth Department of Families, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs (FACSIA) as the funding recipient for the Supported Playgroup Program. Playgroup WA will be delivering the program in Western Australia and will be establishing 21 supported playgroups over a three year period.
