Townsville Family Fun Day
The squeals of delight were endless in Townsville on Wednesday 25 March 2009 as children enjoyed a day of fun activities, giveaways and play. Over 100 families joined in the fun with a number of organisations and Playgroups contributing to the special day.
The 2008 Annual Playgroup Awards were also presented to many Playgroups and these awards were presented by Cr Jenny Lane. Riverside Gardens Little Diggers received the 2008 Playgroup Award for Excellence.
