First Aid Workshops - Expressions of Interest
Playgroup Queensland in partnership with First Aid Demonstrations are holding First Aid workshops for Playgroup families. The workshop for parents/caregivers of babies and children aged 0-5 years is conducted by two Emergency Nurses and First Aid Trainers and will include the following topics:
- Resuscitation
- Drowning
- Choking
- Breathing Difficulties
- Burns and Scalds
- Convulsions and Seizures
- Head Injuries
- Poisoning, Bites and Stings
The cost is $75 per person and the workshops can be held anywhere in Queensland if numbers permit.
We are currently taking expressions of interest from members who would like this workshop to come to their local area. If you would like to access this workshop, see if you can get some of your other Playgroup families or friends interested. When there is a minimum of 10 people wanting to access the workshop in your area, we will then arrange a suitable date and venue for the workshop to be held.
