New members from Baby Show
What a great time we had the inaugural Baby Show on the weekend when thousands of expecting mums, dads, grandparents and friends converged to Randwick.
As a result we welcome almost 100 new Playgroup members!
There was also great support for the Playgroup Membership Showbag, valued at over $100. The bag has been developed especially for first time members and is available for the cost of a family membership.
$800 prize pool for Spring
There are great prizes up for grabs as part of the Spring into Playgroup new membership drive.
The Playgroup that increases their membership by the greatest percentage wins a $400 prize pack containing children's and parenting books and activity packs. There are two prizes - one for the metro playgroup and one for the rural playgroup that increases their membership the most.

Raffle tickets return by 2 October
It has been another successful fundraising raffle this year, with demand for tickets exceeding expectations.
As part of our legislative requirements, all sold and unsold tickets are to be returned to Playgroup NSW by 2 October.
Please retain $1 from each ticket sold and send an equal amount by cheque and made payable to Playgroup NSW.

The Power of Play
We’re counting down to the inaugural National Playgroup Conference, November 5-7, bought to you by Playgroup Australia. During a range of keynote talks, dynamic workshops and engaging forums we will look at the importance of maintaining play-based activities in modern childhood, and how parent/child interaction through PLAY is integral for the health and well-being of our children, ensuring they are able to achieve their full potential and develop into healthy adults.
