Fair Trading recalls dummies
The Department of Fair Trading recall has initiated a statewide recall of 14 baby dummies that pose a potential choking hazard for babies.
Fair Trading Minister Virginia Judge said the dangerous dummies had failed stringent safety tests and could become stuck in a baby’s mouth and block their air supply.

Kids can't fly
The Children's Hospital at Westmead is seeing an alarming increase in the number of children becoming seriously injured after falling from residential buildings
Many of these children suffered from a combination of head injuries, fractures and abrasions, which are potentially preventable with simple planning.
A taskforce to combat this major issue and a Symposium will be looking to identify other practical ways to improve the safety of buildings.
This Symposium will be held on Wednesday November 25 from 9am to 4pm and it is free to the public.
