Playgroup NSW would like to thank our sponsors for their support of Playgroup 2007.

This year’s event was held at Penrith Panthers Leagues Club on Saturday, September 1.

Playgroup members and staff enjoy the opportunity to meet each other and put a face to a name while enjoying the free workshops provided by Playgroup NSW!

The Keynote Speaker was Prof Matt Sanders, founder of the world-renown Triple P Parenting Program . Matt’s lively and engaging presentation made positive behaviour management with toddlers and preschoolers seem possible!

After lunch there were 3 GREAT WORKSHOPS to choose from: ‘Early Literacy for Under 5s’; ‘Child Development – Working with the Senses’; and ‘Using Music with Young Children’.

Everyone who attended received a FREE gift of a personalised plate from Tiny Tots Originals plus the chance to win a Braun Thermoscan Thermometer.

The presentation of the Awards for Excellence, sponsored by The Wiggly Play Centre for Playgroup, Volunteer and Zone of the Year were made to some very deserving playgroup members.

Playgroup NSW's Board of Management for 2007 - 2008 was elected at the Annual General Meeting.

There were lots of giveaways and prizes at the end of the day!
