Awards for Excellence

Playgroup NSW Awards for Excellence are conducted each year to acknowledge zones, playgroups and members who strive to achieve the standards that contribute to a successful playgroup. These standards are in line with the aims and values of Playgroup NSW.

Playgroup of the Year Categories

A Playgroup Award for Excellence in the categories following will be chosen

Best Country Multi-session
Best City Multi-session
Best Country single session
Best City Single Session

Playgroup Volunteer of the Year

The nominee must demonstrate commitment to then aims and values of Playgroup NSW through;

service to the organisation
be a person of good character that has the respect of her or his peers
be someone who is respected for her/his contribution to playgroup by the wider community

This is a single award with nominations accepted from playgroups, zones and Playgroup NSW members

Zone of the Year

This award is to acknowledge zones which strive to achieve great outcomes for their members and playgroups.

The zone must demonstrate commitment to the aims and values of Playgroup NSW through service to the organisation and its objectives, and the active participation and respect of the local playgroup members.
