All Playgroup NSW members are protected by Playgroup NSW's comprehensive Insurance Scheme and you must be a Financial Member of Playgroup NSW to attend any of our 1700+ Playgroup sessions.

Membership Fees

You can make two visits to a Playgroup NSW Affiliated Playgroup before the compulsory Playgroup NSW membership fee must be paid. We recommend that all potential members visit at least 2 different groups, to see which group is right for you and your family.

The membership fee is a payment made direct to Playgroup NSW and covers a range of benefits and insurances. Playgroups are entitled to charge an additional weekly session fee (usually $3-$4 per day) for all current group members to cover the ongoing costs of craft, food and venue hire for their playgroup. Potential members or visitors to the playgroup may also be asked to pay this session fee, at the Playgroup's discretion.

The Playgroup NSW Annual Membership Fee entitles you, your children and any member of your family to attend any Affiliated Playgroup in NSW. The additional session fee (as above) will also apply to cover day to day running costs, as decided by each individual Playgroup.

The Playgroup NSW Membership Fee for 2011 is $39 - great value for all of the Membership Benefits you receive!

You may become a member of Playgroup NSW for the Membership Benefits, but do not necessarily need to attend an Affiliated Playgroup.

You will receive your Playgroup NSW / Australian Baby Card discount benefits card within two weeks of the receipt of your membership payment at the Playgroup NSW Head Office.

You can renew or join for 2011 now by :-

paying online here . This means that your membership will be immediate and you can start attending Playgroup and accessing members benefits straight away! (and you avoid the Manual Handling Fee*)

*Please note - there is a $2.50 Manual Handling Fee for all memberships NOT submitted through online payments.
