Playgroup NSW Raffle 2010 - ChecklistWhere do we start?- On the Raffle Reconciliation Sheet, complete the information in the top section about your Playgroup.
- Again on the Raffle Reconciliation Sheet, write each book and ticket numbers in numerical order.
- Decide on a date that you require Playgroup members to return ticket books to you. Remember to give yourself time to reconcile returned money, follow up outstanding books and to mail to Playgroup NSW by the due date on 16.9.10.
Distributing Raffle Tickets- Distribute tickets to your Playgroup members remembering to accurately record details including name, address and phone number of members who receive each book.
- Remember to advise Playgroup members of the date that you require all sold and unsold tickets to be returned to you. Also ask them not to tear the front cover of the ticket books.
- The Raffle Reconciliation Sheet must be returned to Playgroup NSW along with your books so ensure that you keep it in a safe place for now.
Reconciling your Raffle Tickets- As you collect sold and unsold ticket books and money, complete the date collected, date returned and returned amount on the Raffle Reconciliation Sheet. Remember that books should be listed numerically.
- Check the number of tickets sold equals the amount of money received from each member.
- Total the reconciliation sheet and ensure that this amount equals the total amount of money that you have received.
- Stack books numerically and wrap them with a rubber band.
- Ensure that you have the following:
- All sold and unsold books and tickets (with front covers in tact)
- Completed and balanced Raffle Reconciliation Sheet
- Cheque or Money Order for the full amount raised (DO NOT SEND CASH)
- Before 16.9.10, send the above to:

Raffle Proceeds- For every ticket sold your group will keep $1.00
- Tickets are $2.00 each and are available in books of ten. As in previous years, your Playgroup will retain $1.00 from each ticket sold and forward the other dollar raised back to Playgroup NSW.
- All Playgroup members should have input into how the fundraised money is spent.
