Synopsis: Research by Playgroup Australia confirms the enormous benefit that families receive from playgroups developed specifically for children diagnosed with autism.
Methodology overview: 246 people responded to an online questionnaire in February and March 2010. The respondents were carers of children with an ASD. 26% of these respondents were individuals with direct PlayConnect experience. The remaining respondents were people who have children with ASD in the target age range of 0 to 6 years of age.
