The ACT Playgroups Association Inc. (ACTPGA) runs a toy library out of the office at 41 Templeton Street, Cook, during office hours (Mon. - Fri., 9.30 a.m. - 2.30 p.m., school terms only). Phone 1800 171 882.
Playgroups and members of the ACT Playgroups Association are able to borrow a range of kits designed around a variety of themes. Each kit will contain a number of toys, puzzles, books and other resources and ideas for using them in age appropriate activities. Kits can be borrowed for an entire term with returns due in the second last week of each term. Kits will be available to all playgroups and ACT Playgroups Assocaition members for a refundable deposit and small hire fee. (Please call us on 1800 171 882 to find out the current fees.)
Our Development and Support Workers, have spent time compiling and assessing the kits to best respond to the developmental needs of children and playgroups. Themes include:

- Baby Play
- Toddler Play
- Outdoor Activities
- Science
- Transport
- Home corner
- Sand and Water Play
- Dress-ups and role-playing.
